Born and raised in Myrtle Creek, Oregon, Garrett truly is a South County Local. Following high school, he spent four years serving his country in the United States Coast Guard as an electrician. After his enlistment ended, Garrett returned to Oregon to attend college in Corvallis where he studied Business. In addition to his military career focus and college work, he has extensive training and experience in the fields of energy analysis, insurance, title and escrow, land surveying, and municipalities. This broad and relevant background gives Garrett the ability to analyze and understand situations with comprehensive perspective.

In 2016, Garrett and his family had the opportunity to move back to Myrtle Creek to plant roots at home among this incredible community. Being home as an adult with a family has grown his appreciation and love for where he lives.
